David and Taara are settling well in Bangladesh. While facing setbacks, they have been able to adapt and come up with effective solutions. They tend to neglect their blog, but have shown an increased effort as of late. David has a propensity to get frustrated with power cuts and Internet problems, but is learning to accept this new reality. Taara participates eagerly in almost all activities, but has a hard time saying “no” and as a result finds herself very busy…

This is how my mind has been thinking for the past week. It is report time at school, one of those things that new teachers usually dread. I refused to be taken down by fear of the unknown; I decided not to get stressed over it, made a plan for getting it done, and as of tonight I only have one more entry to make. That makes me about two days ahead of schedule, and I know there are at least two teachers who haven’t even started! Fortunately, my long trained habits of procrastination have fallen by the wayside.
